This is a continuation of the last post. Here's our comforter, and below is the art I got. I've been trying to come up with decorating ideas based on these. It's a bit awkward though, and I'm thinking that one or the either might just have to go. Also, I think it kind of looks like a bachelor's pad. Seeing that I dislike most of the frilly, fru-fru master bedrooms out there that only incorporate the wife's personality, I don't really mind, much.
So if any of you are interior designers at heart, do you have any ideas of how to incorporate these two things? Do any of my ideas sound particularly good or do you have a better one?

I love your blue idea. I think blue would be a good balance between the grays and ambers. Also, I kind of think I would prefer curtains not in gray (blue?) as well since the bed is gray and it is the other main source of color in the room. . .but I haven't seen your room and I haven't seen the original curtains that gave you the idea, either.

AND, I have no interior design training whatsoever. But I do love the combination of blue and orange. AND, I don't know what fabrics are already in your room, but I love corduroy or a tapestry velvety type thing for pillows. But anyway, I think you have some great ideas. It would be really neat to have a salvaged headboard, especially if it wasn't originally a headboard--like a decorative wrought-iron piece (but I don't know if that example in particular is exactly my style, and I don't know if I would be smart enough to find something that would work)
